Welcome to Mt. Pleasant Quilting Company!
We are your one stop destination quilting shop with over 5,000 bolts of 100% cotton quilting fabrics, including flannels and batiks, from most of the major fabric companies. We offer classes -almost daily-with a great variety to choose from - beginner to advanced. If you’re looking for kits, you’ve come to the right place. If you need help in picking out fabrics that coordinate well together, our staff is here to help you with individualized attention. We provide superior longarm quilting machine services: custom, heirloom and edge to edge quilting (pantographs), plus basting and binding services. We also make custom quilts for those who wish to order a quilt completely finished. We are a Judy Niemeyer Certified Shop. Barbara Miller, owner is also a Judy Niemeyer Certified Instructor. Take a drive - it’s worth it!
Barb’s Bulletin - September 2016
In the blink of an eye, it was time to write my newsletter again for the fall semester. What happened? I guess we have all been “phewing” because of the heat. It certainly has been a summer.
This past week found my oldest grandson going off to college and my youngest grandson will be starting kindergarten in a couple weeks. Again, it makes one pause to reflect on what has taken place over the past few years from infancy to the present time. Great memories! Any way on to the newsletter…. We all love sales, so do take time to read about the monthly sales. Our 15th Anniversary Sale Celebration -(yes- 15 years - doesn’t seem possible) is coming up so make sure you read how some lucky quilters will receive an extra 15% off their total sale purchase!
Jo Morton’s “Gratitude” fabric line has arrived with charm packs and jelly rolls. A new look for Mt. Pleasant.
Who doesn’t love blue and yellow together? Walking On Sunshine by Joanne Porter of Wilmington. One can’t look at it without smiling!
Enjoy the remaining days of summer. We will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 3rd, so my employees can enjoy the long week-end with their families.
