Thank you for your kind, patient support in the Do Re Mi class! I thoroughly enjoyed myself! I’m so glad I found your quilt shop-you and your co-workers are all such friendly, helpful souls. It’s nice to have a “feel good” place like Mt. Pleasant to go to. I feel fortunate to know you. Again, many thanks.

Barb’s Bulletin January 2019

Posted December 20, 2018

Dear Quilters,
What do we all wish for in 2019?  I’ve heard people say: quality family time, health, peace, and prosperity….I would like to also add time.  It seems we all lead such busy lives.  Wouldn’t it be great to have more time to dawdle in the morning over a cup of coffee with friends, or more time to linger on a walk looking at flowers, birds, nature, etc, or more time to quilt?  That’s what I’m getting at…..quilting.  I’ve heard so many quilters say they would like more time to quilt. I guess we need to make time, we can’t wait for time to happen. Some gals tell me if they just sneak in even 20-30 minutes a day, it is very therapeutic for them. Sounds like a great goal!
You will find ongoing and new classes for January - March.  Once again, you will find several new classes to choose from.  To name a few: Amish With A Twist IV BOM, Judy Niemeyer’s new Technique of the Month: Dinner Plate Dahlia, 3 or 4 classes using Gudrun Erla’s newest ruler, book and patterns, Knit & Purl - yes- a knitting class, and a Getting Ready for Christmas 2019 project! (Or make it a non-Christmas project using colors other than red and green.)
As I always write in my newsletter because it’s so true: you are all fun, friendly and fantastic women! (And men-you are too!)  I sincerely thank you for attending classes and shopping at Mt. Pleasant Quilting.
